Canaletto & his Contemporaries

The Royal Collection contains the world's finest group of works by Canaletto. Bought by George III in 1762 from Canaletto's agent, Joseph Smith, British Consul in Venice, they are one of the jewels of the Collection. Our Study Day will trace the formation of this collection, followed by a visit to the Queen's Gallery to see these treasures.
