Tours & Study Days With
Juliet Barclay

Juliet has spent much of her life in the Caribbean, based in Barbados and Cuba. After qualifying in Gobelins tapestry weaving at the Central School of Art & Design, she worked in London as a weaver and graphic design project manager, before returning to the Caribbean to set up a design department for the Office of the City Historian of Havana. She has written a number of books and hundreds of articles about Caribbean architecture, social history, culture and customs, and now divides her time between the West Indies and London, where she runs the Events Department of the Museum of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell, and is creating and collaborating in new cultural partnerships in advance of the Museum of London’s move to Smithfield in 2022.
